Steve,
Jim Puplava is not alone in thinking that selling Tyhee would be best for us shareholders. Webb has said he'd sell.
But the obvious question is when and at what price would Webb sell? Jim wants the sale as soon as possible, as he expressed that opinion in a June email to me.
Obviously this forum and Dave Webb are on the same page, in so far as our desire for Tyhee to go it alone into production. But, not so clear, is how many of us would want to see Tyhee do a Joint Venture (JV). Maybe we should ask the forum, since Webb already offered to consider a JV as one possible means of financing.
Note: It's my opinion that, even if the PFS doesn't result in a higher share price, it has served to lower the risk for any company interested in a JV or buyout. Perhaps the bigger question is, with lower risk being a positive, what sort of deal would be made given the clearer economics delivered by the Pre-Feas. I think with the full Feasibility Study and the DAR's behind us, with permitting soon to come ( next 18 months), that's when I think Webb, if he ever wants to, will be in a better position to sell or do a JV on much better terms, if financing mine production on his own is too expensive or challenging.
