6/07/2010 9:22 AM VANCOUVER - Tyhee Development Corp. (TSXV:TDC) says it is delaying a feasibility study for the Yellowknife gold project to consider additional options that have been identified in preliminary planning.
The gold explorer, which is headquartered in Vancouver but is working towards project in the Northwest Territories, said Tuesday the decision will delay the study's release by a "few weeks."
Tyhee did not disclose any details of the review, but said it had identified "a number of options available to the project that had not previously been considered and that could have material impact on the project."
The review will likely improve the project's economics, it said.
The Yellowknife project is located in the South Mackenzie mining district of the Northwest Territories, north of Yellowknife.
Tyhee also noted that six diamond drillholes have been completed at its Clan Lake project, part of the Yellowknife gold project, though the results are not yet available.
Shares of Tyhee rose 29 cents to $30.14 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
