“From Failure Comes Thoughtfulness”-Click and Clack, The Tappet Brothers
Ironically, this is why I have more faith in what Dr. Webb says now, than ever before.
(Or, am I just a moron misled by what Mark Twain said about gold miners: " liars standing on top of a hole in the ground"? And please, this is not open for discussion, thank you.)
If you listen carefully (link below) to what´s said in English, April three years ago, you can hear Webb forecast Tyhee going into production THIS YEAR! And, there´s even mention of the anticipated significant increase in resources from the Nicholas Lake re-sampling assays. Well, that never panned out as expected. Also, Big Sky´s generally unspectacular results also didn´t do much for sharing Webb´s enthusiasms for possible bonanza discoveries.
Could these be the unfulfilled promises made by Tyhee management that Jim Puplava referred to when he devalued their "depth" and experience?
But, even back then you can hear Dave speak of the enormous past mining successes of those who now still work for Tyhee.
But then, in 2007, Tyhee had a hundred million shares less than it does now. Its share price was in the mid-50 cent range and, as usual, its gold in the ground was grossly undervalued at about $40/ounce while its peers were averaging about $90/ounce.
Now, Tyhee gold is valued at about $20 with its peers at about $80/ounce.
So, as we get closer to the day when Dave promised us a "completed" Pre-Feasibility Study, let´s hope that what Car Talk´s Tom and Ray Magliozzi said about "thoughtfulness" resonates within Dr. Webb. And, that what he´s been saying to us for over the last eight months materializes soon.
