My opinion... We have lost liquidity now because
A: the recent selling (probably by SPROTT) temporarily increased liquidity, so the current illiquidity is more noticeable.
B: Markets in general are turning more bearish as Europe fails to address the problems of its southern countries, so there are fewer buyers.
C: The growing oil slick in the Gulf is going to greatly impact the status of off-shore drilling, but no one knows to what extent and how the price of oil will be effected, causing uncertainty.
D: From the above and other factors there is a growing worry that we are approaching the second dip in a double-dip recession, or worse, a continuing 1st dip into a worse recession.
E: Finally, the summer doldrums are approaching during which there is simply less market activity.
The current lack of lilquidity doesn't concern me. I both expect and ignore it.
BTW I also have bids in and a couple have been executed.
