Roger's gone, as Tyhee's Exec. VP. Should Dave Webb also consider going? At least, trading in his title as President and CEO of Tyhee Development Corp for maybe, Chairman of the Board of Directors?
Why even bring this up? Is this blasphemy to even think it? Well...
This forum has struggled with the notion of a company or CEO name change. Many believe that the name "Tyhee Gold" ( or "Dr. David R. Goldman") would give Tyhee Development Corp a significant marketing advantage, especially in the mania stage of the gold bull run. Webb and many others disagree, and for good reasons.
But, here's my point. Marketing/Public Relations of a company, as many say, represents an important factor in the success of "selling" the corporation in the marketplace.
To the extent that Dr. Dianne Garrett, President and CEO of Romarco Minerals, has succeeded in promoting her company, Dave Webb's approach, SO FAR, to some, might seem almost lame.
Many have reported that Dianne has publicly touted that her company will deliver 10 million gold ounces from its Haile Mine, not yet in operation. In at least one of Romarco's news releases it showed incorrect (misleading) resources data, and even stated in another, as Hubert has pointed out, an apology for its "inadvertent" mistake.
In New York last month, Webb told me that if he can't "sell" the company in his position as CEO then perhaps, Tyhee should find a CEO who can do a better job.
So, salesmanship counts, and Webb knows that.
So, to end my point, I hope, sooner or later, more and more investors will fathom the punchline of this ol's joke as it relates to their confidence in investing in Tyhee:
Question: "How can you tell when a salesman is lying?"
Answer: "When her lips are moving!"
(Dear Dr. Garrett, does it bother you that the SEC might be watching?)
Cheers,
Baires
