What? A $50 million mini-nuclear power plant at Tyhee?
Our man cory up in Yellowknife recently posted an article on this forum about a company that plans to heat the city of Yellowknife from heat naturally generated at the bottom of the old nearby Giant Mine.
I was just wondering if the temperature down there, and maybe even in the old Discovery or Con mines is high enough to easily make steam that could drive a turbine to produce electricity?
This, as a possible alternative to the oil and hydro-power generated electricity that Tyhee will most likely use.
Cheers,
