One possibility we can't discount. Gold was allowed to rise. New shorts placed on the Comex. Precious metal shares heavily traded ahead of the date. Tomorrow, a plunge in the shares and bullion prices. Wash, rinse and repeat.

Why? The gold crowd needs to be shaken out of their position to manage the ascent.

Monetary issues coming to a head. Can't hide from certain exposure soon.
