Is it me, or has the tone of this board deteriorated to the point where free speech is compromised?

I can see the need to moderate extreme posts, either bashing or pumping Tyhee. But I sense that everyone is getting squeezed into some middle ground here. I think we have lost our way. Reasonable opinions stated as such should not be required to document a full set of footnotes and bibliography. This is a chat board, not a court of law.

I would ask those who agree with my assessment to recommend this post in the hope that we in numbers can have our board back. And please don't find an excuse to delete this post before the board has a chance to respond.
