If you listen to the second part of Hour 3 of today's Financial Sense News interview with Brent Cook , Author Exploration Insights Topic: The Majors Will Still Need to Buy Juniors), you'll hear Brent speak of how the most likely companies to do extremely well in this gold bull market will be those late stage explorers/developers with only 2-3 million ounce deposits that are economic to mine. Whereas, the bigger explorers, with about 10 million ounces are far less likely to succeed in being acquired by the larger cap producers!
Could it be then, that Tyhee with its 2.2M oz gold resource, is a potentially more desirable buyout candidate than a, for example, Terrane Minerals with its 6 million in reserves?
Jim Puplava continues to liken the Tyhee-like companies to the high-tech Cisco's of the early phase of the tech boom.
Might this explain one reason Gold Corp didn't take out Terraine? And, why Tyhee's share price is holding up rather well in this current gold slump?
Go Tyhee!
