Unfortunately, I am not at liberty to say where I got my information (I made a promise), but I feel confident that I can account for a substantial part of that nearly 3 million Tyhee share sell-off by Puplava, as having come from his Fund(s) over that last six months or so.
Well well well...
I got some criticism when I "interpreted" a poster's comment of TDC shares sold in his account as an indication that Puplava had been selling shares. When over three million shares are being offered and overhanging a microcap with less than 300,000 shares total volume per day, the stock acts like - well - like it has been acting for the last 6 months. Capped.
It is nice that he still holds 18 million shares, but let's admit that his partial shares sale likely has been capping the price to our detriment. Even if it can be argued that the sale was made off market to someone like Sprott, those were 3+ million shares that Sprott might have bought from the public, raising the price considerably over time. And since he had 21.8 million shares in February the number is greater than 3 million shares, not less.
Puplava has every right to do whatever he wants. But the truth is the sale one way or the other affected the stock price negatively. To deny that is silly, IMO.
