Remember when, about a year ago, JP said "all" gold explorers with at least 2M oz in safe jurisdictions would be acquired in the next 24 months?
But, on today's Q-Line, Minute 31:58,
Jim said that right now, mostly those that are "economic" will be acquired, meaning those with high grades or proven good economics would be likely candidates for acquisition.
He also said there's a company with 5 or 6 million ounces with no good infrastructure so it's not currently economic to mine as it would take at least a couple of billion dollars to produce.
Can anyone guess which company this is? (My guess, Copper Fox).
