LOL, I was thinking the same thing. The Fed is past the point of no return on this one, but from a political standpoint, stagflation is probably the least painful solution. Hyper inflation or deflationary collapse would have meant an end to the Fed, but this bad economy/high inflation outcome will keep them around a while longer.
