In this week's BTV video update, Webb said that he is currently estimating Tyhee's mine life to be NINE YEARS!

Since I'm not good with numbers, and since the PA calculated the mine to have a life of seven year producing 3,000 tonnes per day, I asked him about this. He said that the PA was completed on a 1.6 million ounce resource, which is where Tyhee stood in 2007/early 2008. Subsequent to the PA, Tyhee reported a 2.1 million ounce resource. By using simple arithmetic ratio, this ups the estimated production life to nine years.

So, for anyone good with numbers, it might be fun to estimate possible mine lives and annual production rates by using various different increases in Tyhee's resources over the next year.
