What's The Fate of Gold Juniors in Years to Come? Bob Hoye Answers.

Someone from Argentina wrote Bob Hoye and asked about the fate of gold juniors in the years to come.

The question was,

“You’ve said by Spring next year that gold explorers will be doing very well, much better than now. Do you see the following seasons and years to come as continued strength, or will next Spring be the peak for this sector?”

Bob Hoye answered,

”This is, I’m glad that question came in…The increase in the real price of gold relative to the other commodities is reflecting better profitability for gold mining and it also enhances valuations of ore deposits. So it’s plus plus for the mining industry and the gold business. But what the problem is you have the next leg down for the stock market won’t treat senior gold stocks friendly. So the idea then is that probably maybe January, if it’s devastated one would began to buy some the whole gold sector because the next leg down in the disaster will increase the real price of gold even further. So that is building a big base from which you can have a very powerful launch of the gold mining stocks, and we look at the juniors then with maybe the equivalent of the small cap tech stock in 1994 where the party ran for a few years. So it’s possible…but there’s some, you can trade these things, you know, there are some individual juniors out there where maybe they’ve got something going on in the next few weeks, you know, different choices for different individual stocks.”
