Nice work, Skeleg. A purchase of Viking seems like a good idea down the road, but consolidating what we have already and narrowing the focus seems better in the short term, which is the current strategy. Have to evaluate the best use of $500,000 at this time (if that is the cost) - to expand the Clan/Goodwin resource in a relatively known area (and which is very exciting), and do the permitting and economic assessment to open the doors to cash-generating mine operations; or invest in another uncertain project which will have to sit for quite a while. I would go with the former myself at this point.

By the way, Cramer on Mad Money last night said the price of gold will continue to languish until the housing market bottoms, which from past shows he estimates at June 30th, in 9-10 weeks time. Seems to make sense. If we discount the possibility of a major meltdown, which is obviously being prevented in large part by managing the price of gold (whenever stocks threaten to drop, the price of gold drops instead), then inflation and the value of the US buck are the main factors in the gold price. Cramer seems to be saying the standoff between deflation and inflation will continue until the main factor causing this crisis is taken out - housing, and when that starts to go up, and with the enormous amounts of money being printed now, and when economic transactions increase in frequency, inflation will begin to rise and so will gold Best to all, Isaiah
