Good post Stone. Except the panicking supposition implies the mindset of an innocent victim; I'm not so certain that is the case. I have heard no remorse whatsoever, only a brief reference to the newly energized Minefinders as if all recommended juniors have had a bit of a run.

Profit motive might be a better supposition. If management fees are a percentage of total assets under management, and if the portfolio has lost 40% of its value (conservative estimate?) while another 40% of clients have bailed out, that results in a 64% loss of management fees.

Hence the new bullion services and "revitalized" strategy. Sorry, I am a suspicious sort by nature.
