BornWeiner,
The best most realistic opportunity for funding a Tyhee mine, I believed, will come NOT from, as you suggest, hitting "really big holes" with "high-grade wide veins", but rather from demonstrating that Tyhee's resources can be economically produced.
With a resource now over 2.1 million ounces, enormous blue sky potential at Clan and Goodwin Lakes (not to mention what may be available at depth at Nick Lake and Ormsby), and with a positive economic study, the availability of debt financing should greatly reduce the need for further significant dilution.
Tyhee now has the money to complete a Feasibility Study (about a million dollars needed). Instead of spending it on discovering more $25/ounce gold during the next 12 months or so (historically about 250,000 more ounces added), it should do what will make it even more attractive to investors,
...become a property immediately ready for making huge profits.
