Great post strike!
I have been thinking exactly the same thing.
I feel what will stand out in the very short term is PROFITS BY PRODUCERS.
These profits will stand out all the more as other companies in the market are making no money or are losing money.
I agree that bullion was the place to be for the last two years, except for a nice play on gold stocks after the fall crash. However, now the mid and big producers will shine...
Nevertheless, I am even beginning to think that the big producers (and some mid tiers) as the place to be will be shortlived relative to near producers and late-stage exploration companies because the latter are simply the last of the battered and bloodied that have not even rebounded yet.
If anything in this world is logical anymore, it seems the following is: once recognition of producers making money is considerable (and I feel we are almost there), those who want in on the next big thing will quickly move down the food chain, a chain which leads to the likes of Kimber, Tyhee, etc.
So far, things have been happening in the markets much more quickly than anyone foresaw; I do not think that will change; in fact, it just may accelerate.
This is all just my opinion, but I feel Puplava may be making some panic moves, moves that will not be "bad" (bullion will be profitable), but may miss the slam dunk (catch up and acceleration time at the end of the food chain).
All the best,
stone
