I cannot help but feel I am watching history unfold before my eyes today. I am typically not someone who obsesses with the day to day movements, and I take a long term view, but I have to say, today was one of the most interesting days I have ever experienced watching the markets and gold in particular.

In terms of technical levels, I agree a close above 960 and the game is over.

I am also watching for a break to the upside on what I believe is a yearlong cup and handle formation. Could today have been the break? Again, a close over 960 will tell me.
