MVLWB progress on EA

Link to the well-trodden site where we can track progress. Notable items:

http://www.mveirb.nt.ca/registry/ind...

1. Deadline for comments extended a few days to 3 March.

2. About 10 responses from various government and other groups / stakeholders in the process. Common themes include Winter Lake as tailings impound, and how that decision can be achieved without delays (paralel aspects of the EA), concerns (well stated by Dene letter) that the DAR should be deep enough to indicate how other resources, such as Clan Lake and Goodwin Lake - which are not part of this original plan) would be handled at Ormsby. This relates to inquireies I made at their offices, and made by GNWT. It's important to discuss mine lif expansion and the encorporation of satellite deposits in this DAR, even if only to indicate the company's approach to such. Employment / economic benefits feature in many of the submissions.

3. This is good to see, as you know full well that each of these stakeholders has something to gain from a mine coming on line. The more they look at it, the more they become invovled in getting this done, the more energy and momentum we will have. I put it to you that many of these people have family and friends who would start to accumulate shares in Tyhee, perhaps based on the public hearings, and their seeing that the due consideration for the environment and first nations concners are being handled well by Tyhee....inspiring confidence that a permit can be issued in reasonable time.

Good progress.
