I predict that the price of gold will go down a bit more, then up, then down, then up quite a bit. By the end of the summer, we should be solidly above $1,000 and occasionally making new highs, but in the winter it will get much better.
THe thing is, the US dollar will keep being strong while banks are hoarding cash and bailout money is not into the economy yet. Once the banks are forced to start lending, and bailout money reaches the streets, the world will be awash with US currency and it will devalue considerably.
ALso, as the recession continues to spiral downwards, other nations ability to buy us debt will continue to erode, exacerbating the requirement for the Fed to print (ease) more dollars into circulation.
The bottom for the US dollar won't be until 2010. At just about the time that Tyhee is into the final stages of the licencing process and has to arrange financing / make the final decision on construction.
Perfect storm, but still a LONG WAY away.
The next few months may be as painful as the last, but I am optimistic that tyhee will have a share price above 50 or 60 cents by the time they submit the DAR in Sept or so.
