It's funny (not) how the Bre-X scandal changed the world of investment in juniors. One side of me is very happy to see checks and balances that I can look at as an investor and base decisions on. The other side is a little discouraged when I look at how much more expense is typically gone to in order to justify a mine.

There was a time when you could just do it. Make it happen if you could find the money. Now, it's very unlikely to find all the money without jumping through the hoops. Would be great if we could just make a mine happen without a feasibility, but it won't happen. I imagine even the Territorial Government wants to see one done to base their community planning around.
