(PRESS PROFILE TAB FOR FACT SHEET & UPDATES)
Nope. Supply of day-to-day camp consumables is by air charter. There is a huge supply of heating and generating fuel at the camp, and the drill rig is flown to sites by helicopter (in pieces).
The winter road program resupply is mostly for fuel and any heavy equipment and trailers etc. All of that is in place, and since the power requirements are very low to just run the camp for the pilots, geologists, mechanic, ACME personnel, drill workers, and a few labourers (who cut the core samples), then they won't burn into the fuel supply much. They now use a smaller VOLVO generator for camp needs. The much larger generator was only needed when they were doing underground work in the Ormsby site, as they neede air supply, compressed air etc for tunneling.
I bet that the winter resupply requirements will be very light this winter. As for a winter drilling operation, I hope to see some form of operations update in that regard from Dr. Webb some time before freeze up. It's blowing snow up there right now, but lakes are not frozen thick yet.
If they don't drill this winter, at all, I will be shocked. As one other poster pointed out, it's a real opportunity to drill on wet/boggy areas that are only practical in winter.
