I guess the problem with JP is that he is a money manager invloved in juniors so he is the market so he cant sell even if he would like to, however if people like Frank B were saying to lighten up on senior gold stocks or commodity stocks that was code for getting out of everything, where exactly were junior gold stocks going to go if seniors were going down

In feb or so I bought Tyhee for the first time but had started getting bobs work plus I always read the Mish blog so although it gave me headachs sometimes, I kept both possibilities in my head. Then Bob came out with his dollar capitulation call and at first I said ok I can hedge my Tyhee shares with a gold short ETF but as Bob was more pragmatic that you should be trying to make money both ways, I sold my Tyhee and started going short

Where do we go from here? in the end JP will do ok, if you look at his holdings he is well diversified and there are enough gold stocks in his pot that he bought at lower levels that when gold eventually does what it is supposed to do it will cover losses losses on his commodities if he is wrong.

Again the quality (gold) juniors are either worth nothing or are serious 10/30 baggers from 08 highs, so even if in theory you were in cash and went long last week it is still a 2 way bet of 0/1000%. its back to thinking about how many oz in the ground you have, not the share price on a particular day
