My point was never to argue what party is better for your country or launch a political commentary. I was simply pointing out a trend that I discovered; that markets tend to do better under Dems than Reps and this actually really surprised me. I would have thought it would have been the opposite without any doubt.

I'm only trying to guestimate on some possible reactions of the market following the election in less than a week and that is where this led me. If you want to discuss the merits of McCain vs Obama I'll be happy to respond to that but do so in my inbox. I think we'd get kicked off the forum if we get into that here :)
