"I was curious what people thought about the last part of the Big Picture as he was interviewed by that doctor chap."

i have no problem with him going into hiding. in fact, i preferred he went back.

personally, i think he's a tool.

1. his analysis is often inconsistent.

2. he makes bold claims about his investments without any verifiable evidence.

3. he prone to 'leading the witness' to draw a conclusion. (i.e. don't you think gold has SO MUCH HIGHER TO GO?!?!?! don't you think that as an investor YOU JUST HAVE TO HOLD ON!!!! don't you? please? pretty please tell me i'm write on this one? just this once?)

4. his interviews are poorly scripted and poorly acted.

he may be right this time in calling for a bottom or professional buying or whatever, but that's pure coincidence. to me, anybody who did not see this deleveraging coming just moved down a few notches in my book. that includes puplava.

barbera has moved up a few notches. even tim wood. dare i say.... jon nadler? i know...it pains me to say it too.

and while i'm spewing my worthless opinions :

i think some on this board would also be wise to be more open minded and listen to a few deflationists who have been deadly accurate in calling this unwinding and then an eventual return of gold.

jmho
