I have to admit, being an American, it is quite a peculiar situation to be "rooting" for my own currency's demise.

I guess, now that I think about it, I am not rooting for it. I just know it must happen. And given that, I want to protect myself.

And then, since I am investing in that protection, I am back to rooting for it! Good grief!
