I've no idea what hedge funds will do in the future, assuming that any net long gold hedge funds will have taken a hammering this year, they may stick to the larger companies in the near term.
Over the next year the things to watch out for are gold companies increasing margins either in absolute terms or relative to other sectors, remember that the E in P/E ratios is going to start dropping across the Dow/S&P/Russell indexes so the market will begin to notice that gold companies are one of the few sectors actually increasing earnings or dividends. Tyhee will get taken along for the ride and then lets just trust that Webb's instincts are right that he is on to a winner
Also lets hope the weaker juniors get weeded out in the next 6 months so that the Tyhee story isnt lost in the forrest of junior company out there.
