(PRESS PROFILE TAB FOR FACT SHEET & UPDATES)
This is getting really really tiring... Dollar breaking out every day make new 52 wk highs.. silver and gold breaking down making new 52 week lows.. All equities getting obliterated so no place else to make any $$ long. Once you go long.. market crashes.. Once you go short.. market advances 400 plus points.
I have to admit.. I really wish I was in all cash and never had heard this story. I could go to cash now with huge losses which I do not want to do. I do not sleep well at night these days because of this mess. I am now tempted to really gamble to make up for losses which would not be smart. I am reading everything I can get my hands on to give me a feel for when things may show some hope short term. The heck with long term at this point.. I am bleeding and may bleed to death(emotionally at least). What I thought was light at the end of the tunnel was some poor gold bug holding a matchstick about 60 yards from me. He is down to his last smoke and has no car or house from the last gold wave he rode in the late 70's. He coughed and the light is now out.
I really thought and still think oil will lead the way back up in commodities. I thought it may be bottoming but today blew that theory up. To top it all off, one of the newsletters sent me out a flash this am and said to buy with both hands because the bottom was in. The charts they used were from yesterday at about noon before the massive selloff.. Everyone has been calling a bottom while this market is spanking everyone's bottom.
Looks like Argentina is blowing up right behind Iceland( Help Baires). Looks like major problems coming in Spain. Looks like dollar is beneficiary of "last man standing". Who would have thought it with our endless supply of government fools?
This really looks like the 74/75/76 deflation period where gold and equities cratered. It was 1979/1980 before gold really made its move. I'm not sure I can make it another 4 years, so what the heck?
All I can do is have patience and not try to be a hero by adding more ammo to this flaming wreck. I will know when this thing turns and so will most of you. I am looking forward to 17 of 22 down days for the dollar just like we have had 17 of 22 up days recently. Until then, may we all have peace ahead of the prosperity that I hope awaits us. This is a great board with alot of great ideas, so let's keep the positive ideas coming.
