Well, that was a bit of a let down. All he said was that he expects a rebound as a result of the oversold conditions accross the board. He likened it to a tennis ball that drops and then takes a bounce off the ground. He added that this assumes the ball has air in it and that this ball may not.
He also said that he didn't feel that China's reported growth of 9% was true and that their economy would decline more than the US in a recession.
I notice that Dr. Doom is now a favorite of Marc and Erins. They find him kind of a fun guest for his extreme negativity. Only a few months ago he would go on CNBC and be attacked.
Mad, mad cramer is getting ripped by other media financial mangalists for his negativity on the markets and telling people to get out while they can.
Now even on up days you're hearing some cautious optimism and even some of the crew suggesting that rallies are to be sold into.
My, my how things have changed. We're actually seeing CNBC face reality! I find it kind of sad though.
