Richard, TDC has abou 6 mil in the bank and as they slow operations that could last for 10 years. Don't worry about this going belly up. It's just going to be a long wait, that's all. World wide recession will last no more than 3 years at worst. Maybe 1 year.

US recession might be longer. Hard to say. This was THE most anticipated recession EVER. As such a lot of investors, much smarter than me of course, have pulled money out way in advance and are sitting on the sidelines. At some point prices will be low enough for them to come come back in.

I also expect the next government in the US to dump billions into infrastructure. Let's face it, if Obama wins, he'll have a fillibuster proof senate and can do anything he wants. He'll reduce military spending and increase spending on all kinds of projects across the US that will promote growth. This might be at the cost of the dollar and inflation but that's what we want, right? My feeling is that's ok as I'd rather deal with inflation than a depression, but that's just my opinion.

So given that, I don't really think this thing is going to drag on as long as we might think. Tomorrow I very well may feel differently. I just bought OSK and more NOX, even though I just wrote to 2 people saying I wouldn't buy anything in this sector for awhile!
