Puplava has been right on all his macro themes, yet wrong on a lot of timing. I don't know why he even tries to time things like he does, or make specific calls on prices, targets, etc. I guess it is ego partly. It is one thing to be right on the theme, another to pick the number exactly.

I like how Peter Schiff openly says that he doesn't know how long this will take to play out, but only cares about the ultimate ending, which they both seem to agree on. Schiff also does not give figures: every time they press him for a number on the DOW on CNN, he refuses, and says, "I don't know. But I know you'll be able to buy the DOW for one ounce of gold."
