Agree, it is going to be very interesting.
The crisis is now spiraling in Europe as well. For example all Icelandic banks are halted today. Government has asked/orderd the banks to unload forrign papers and stocks.
My point is there will be some delay in what the actual picture will look like, the gunsmoke needs to go away, the forced selling need to be done with.
Many private investors and investment funds are still getting margin calls, which means even more forced selling and lack of buyers.
So perhaps we need more time and perhaps we will see accelerating volativity before the final capitulation. At that point ONLY non leveraged, long term investors will be back. Just like the banks, everything will go up and down with plus minus XX% on a dayli basis.
