'The banks need to start lending again'...............

This becomes the problem with this bailout package. The banks sell their toxic waste to the taxpayers, then put the money in Treasuries rather then lending it out to businesses/taxpayers. This bailout package will not solve the problem since the banks are scared s&*#less and will not lend, and we get stuck with their garbage.
