I have grappled with this scenario for some time as we have discussed this before. Clearly, Dooty is right in that the money will flow into the big guys first purely because the big guys have the name recognition as far as brokers go, are much more liquid and trade on the main exchange.
Prior to even the big guys, the money may go directly into the ETF's as people have no understanding of explorers or producers, but want to grab ahold of the golden ring.
I think there may be a significant lag time before the general public enters the junior companies---primarily because the ETF's make it so easy for them to participate. Therefore, without the knowledge of the slingshot benefit that the juniors hold, we may have to wait a bit longer. However, on the other side of this argument is the steep rise in juniors that we saw a couple of years ago when the precious metals market had a lot smaller participation then it does now.
So now I clearly do not know which way the wind will blow.............
