The problem with this is that it would mean that there is nothing a policy maker can do to stop a deflation. I disagree. They have the power of the press and will use it. Why else would they go to such great efforts and expense to take down gold and silver? It's because they intend reflation. They want US to kill the bull market by scaring us into walking away.
