If the Powers That Be want to defend the dollar (seems to be current policy choice), then the yuan will only get added to the USDX after a major devaluation has taken place. If the PTB want the dollar dead, the best way to kill it is to give it a strong weighting in the index before it goes below 71.30 and then the dollar will REALLY get blown away on the winds of history.
