We're the hardcore believers, Chris. We're the strong hands. The massive volume of selling means that a lot of other guys are simply shaken out, and possibly for years from this sector.
My Dad's a broker, with more experience than me, and every time we get one of these big shakeouts, he sells. Then he hates the sector and goes back to oil and base metals. I suspect many people do this, if they are even in resources.
My Mom and younger brother were worried yesterday too. I was there to reassure them, and tell them I was buying, which I have done today and yesterday.
If we didn't have JP on our side, I would have paniced and sold long ago, probably buying TIPS and oil trusts afterward.
The job of a bull market is to take as few riders as possible.
