Would like to add that we are not only in a cyclical bull market in gold and gold shares but in a SECULAR bull market. However, that is not to say that gold and gold shares will go up in a straight line.
I suspect that today's large volume involves a crossover and involves one or more of the holders of 10,000,000 flow thru shares issued earlier. Remember that these guys after tax recoveries have an average cost of around 35 cents on these shares. These guys did not purchase the flow thru shares because they believe in gold but because they are in a very high tax bracket and wanted a tax break. They know the storm is coming in general equities and want out of their flow thru shares.
Judging from comments posted on this board, the concept of flow thru shares is poorly, if not at all, understood by members of this forum.
Note that Frank Barbera has not come up with a strong buy recommendation on Tyhee since the flow thru shares were issued. I surmise he understands the impact of flow thru shares on subsequent market performance rather well.
