Mining plan / comparison with Mulatos mine (2005)

B2, My 10 Km assumption comes from something I read in a press release, I think. I'll look for it.

From the last Clan Lake news release: "The Clan Lake Property is 32 km south of Tyhee's Ormsby Zone (19 km south of the Goodwin Lake Zone) and 27 km north of the Bluefish hydroelectric complex." Therefore Clan lake is closer to Big Sky than Ormsby... and:

For an interesting Mining plan that shows the advantages that Ormsby has (no overlying waste material to move), and highlights the use of conveyors and the costs of hauling ore, see Alomos Gold Mulatos Mine (2005):

And note:"Hauling ore from the pit to the leach pad had an effect on costs since the distance is substantially farther than hauling or to the crusher site which is close proximity to the pit."

All of this was based on $350/oz price for gold!!

Note, my $500 million (not an actual offer!) is for 50% of the Ormsby-bruce-Nick Lake resource. Which is about 1.8Moz, with another 4Moz underneath to be proven during mine life extension.

In general, as an itsy bitsy teeny weenie shareholder, I think that it's outside of small shareholders hands. If there is any major buy in or buy out, based on the view that Dr. Webb wants to be a CEO of an actual producing mine, then he would not sell the entire company but may allow some buy in or spin off.

We are not that far away from actually seeing the revised mine plan, and economics. Key factors will be the employment of electrical power (with costs associated in setting up power from Blue Fish) vs fuel costs, use of conveyor, size of crusher, timeframe for first staring to stockpile crushed material....etc.
