My reaction is along the same lines as skeleg.

None of the miners seem to know exactly what equipment and processes will be most efficient until a lot of research has been done, all of which is incorporated into a feasibility or scoping study.

What size of mill would be most profitable in what location? Will it be floatation or heap-leach? (or something else?) Will the project require a large scale to become profitable?

Also, even if we did know the equipment involved, is this the right time to take the risk of financing/buying it? Who would loan the money, with no feasibility study done? We're talking about (probably, as none of us has seen the feasibility study) 250 million here. Not small potatoes like Tyhee currently has in the bank for an exploration budget.
