Puplava Is Correct About Mexico... For Now.  But Argentina?

JP, on Part 2 of the Big Picture talked about Mexico as his number one place for mining because of its history of political stability and respecting property rights. But, what he didn't mention is that last year Mexico came VERY close to electing a socialist as President.  If that had happened, I do not think JP would feel the same.  Luckily, the next Mexican Presidential election is in 5 or so years...fingers crossed for the KBX'ers.

Argentina, one of Jim's other top picks for a mining country, is also problematic. We're ( I live in Argentina) experiencing growing nation-wide civil unrest, some might even say that there's sporadic rioting.  All this because the gov't is attempting to raise the farm tax to almost 50%.  Farmers are now blocking major traffic routes and the country's food supply is doubt if things worsen.

I'm headed for Miami tonight.

Que tenga buen dia, hasta luego

Baires
