A week ago Friday, when BSC had fallen from $50 to less than $30.00 I thought I'd buy BSC options for $50.00 strike Jan 2009 expiry. I figured that BSC was not going to go "tits up" and that it was over-sold at less than  $30.00. Within a year I figured they'd be well above the $50.00 strike and I'd rake in a big gain.

However, for whatever reason my online trading system didn't let me get the options. It returned a message I'd have to call their system. However, since I was in Florida on vacation, I decided I'd just wait till Monday morning when I got home! Lucky me because the options are now worthless and will never be worth anything unless there's some kind of miracle and MR. Diamond ups his bid to $35.00... even then I think I'd have lost on the premium!
