Do you think Jim is going to start backing away from his oreo theory on this week's FSN? The Fed is certainly acting the way he predicted, but Bernanke seems unable to get any prolonged effect from his rather drastic actions. All he seems to manage are 1-day SM rallies which fizzle out the next day. With $4 gasoline all but inevitable, and $1000 gold suddenly putting itself on the mainstream media radar, I don't know how thick the "creamy filling" can realistically be.

Then again, from a contrarian perspective the consensus opinion is so pessimistic here that it would seem like it has to turn at some point.
