Forum readers, here is a discussion I had with Baires, read from bottom. It was done by email, and should have been posts.
SKELEG
skeleg, I in the Bariloche airport about to leave for Buenos Aires and wish I had more time to respond to this message...please post it on the forum...
Also, did your geologist think much of the impending YGP revised resource estimate that we expect will add another approx. million ounces this year?
If not, why not?
Your comments?

He looked over the most recent reports and commented that it is very thorough and professionally done, from his perspective. He suggested that the resource would have to me much larger/richer to justify the investment of bringing a mine into production, and he said that it will take quite some time to get there.
He then tried to introduce me to a mine he is working on in BC, but I was not interested in a pitch. As I said before, investing in something you have exposure to, in your area, allows you to pick up the little pieces of tidbits. Beign informed is being forewarned.
I did not have that with Glencairn (Now CSM). I want to be part of a small, growing mid-teir producer. GGG had that, but ran into lots of geological / climactic / ecological problems.
The math for TDC, based on a 3000 tpd mill, would result in up to 100,000 OZ/year of production once up and running. That puts it in the range I am looking for. 3 to 5 years from now.
OOPS, I just deleted a long-winded discussion on geopolitical factors. Short version is watch china. When they take a hit from the US slowdown, 1.3 billion people's standard of living will take a hit, and lead to instability. Their Olymic Games will the their last hurrah, and after that, all those great foreign correspondents will have to travel to China to report on the incipient humanitarian and ecological crises. Impact on gold? Well, a loss of apetite for US debt instruments, on the part of a struggling, unstable China, will be a catastropy for the US and the deeply integrated financial world. Stagflation and insecurity at levels not seen since Nixon.
Maybe I'll hire an American lady to clean my house (she can no longer afford the Mexican lady she hired to clean hers, and needs a second job to pay for her 11% mortgage, or lose her obscenely large 3500 sq ft house).
At that time, i will be in retirement, putting my children through univsersity and reading philosophy and canning cherries (not in Yellowkinfe).

Why the private discussion? I don't mind this discussion being posted.

skeleg,
I think, once most of the warrants expire on the 8th of March and, I´m hoping by then we might even see a revised resource est. and other nice news, that the price will turn north.
What did your geologist contact say about Tyhee?
My best,
Richard

Waited, while doing Due Dilligence.
Now I am all in. Took some time to study everything on TDC,
and had a Geologist in Inuvik look over those 43-101 reports.
I was burned in the not too distant past with Glencairn Gold, so
as much as I am enthusiastic, I wanted to be sure that TDC will
not be a misadventure.
One thing I am not happy about is that the PR side of TDC is not very informative. Not so much about news releases, but pushing out more pictures, more updates. But my assessment is that they have a lot of exploring / proving yet to do before anything substantial is decided. Progress with the regulatory process is the key.
I hope the stock price starts a slow and steady rise back to the .70 range, and that by Nov or so this year, we start to see a plan coming together.
Obviously, they will need to solidify the stock price above $1.00 for a while before they start to raise real money for a mine, as well as translate over to TSX. These are the things that others doing DD will be watching fore, before they invest.

Sorry Skeleg, But You Are VERY Welcomed Here!!
Here? I live very near Aeroparque en Buenos Aires so, if you want to warm up with Argentina summer sunshine ( it´s now mid-summer here) and Argentina Malbec, please fly in.
It´s great to have you up there as a contact. And, when I speak to Dave Webb, in Toronto next month, I´ll mention that perhaps we, the share holders, might pan and party in YK this spring/summer.
Why did you wait so long to post? What brings you here only now?
