I'm not a trucker, but my understanding is you are correct in saying each could haul 40 - 50 tonnes. The stated goal for this year end (and I suspect they won't meet that deadline) is 250 tonnes/day to start, which is to produce 33 000 oz gold/year.

Chester 1 contains an average of 0.43 oz/tonne. The math works out if they haul 6 days/week. I don't know how many trucks they have, but it would take about five runs/day to meet their objective.

Going into 2012, the goal is to double that to 500 tonnes/day to produce 66 000 oz gold/year.

It's also my understanding (I read it last summer, and can't find the reference right now) that shipping will cost $12/tonne. That's a fair bit less than your estimate tau, but even your higher number would give a nice return.

All that, and Cote Lake to boot, along with a very substantial treasury.
