11:47 AM EDT, 07/09/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Torex Gold (TXG.TO) surged 5% in recent trade after it said Monday that it continues to expect sales of 325,000 - 350,000 gold ounces of gold for 2018.

The company also said that it produced 80,000 ounces of gold in Q2 from its El Limon Guajes mine in Mexico.
