Exit point ???

Good evening everyone,

I don't post often but do read every post, every day. Also, I have been here a long time, like many, and am fully confident that it won't be long now. But, I understand the frustrations that many are feeling. I am not wealthy so I do want to try to figure out an exit price now that we are close. My strategy is to sell part and hold part for MATL II and III and IV etc. I am not an expert so my intention is not to try and find the top and sell all that I hold now and buy back on a dip later. I just want to try to figure a proper exit point for perhaps 50% of my current holding. I am willing to watch the other 50% decline, which will eventualy happen, and I'll hold for the future. I'm not asking for predictions of where our share price will go, just want to ask if there is something that I might have missed that I would like to consider in my own rough calculations.

I know the line is promoted as being bi-directional but I only recall contracts flowing south to north, Montana to Alberta. Those contracts expired in Dec. 08 and were extended through negotiations, I think. In fact one "customer" will provide some financing in advance for the project to move forward. Of course, more financing is required also and is being sought at this time. Hopefully the "Obama package" , for partial.

I have previously stated that I have contacts in the industry such as knowing a few years ago that ABB had produced the transformers and had been paid for them. I have said that I have a connection in regard to the pole negotiations. Also, I have a contact in regard to the conductor, although, they were not awarded the original contract. However, there are still discussions there as nothing has been awarded. I guess the poles weren't awarded either but I do know that discussions continue there with Stella-Jones Ltd. And, I have talked to HD Supply who has been in negotiations on the pole line hardware. Anyway, there has definately nothing been done as far as confirming procurement contracts. Not a bad thing, so please don't get me wrong there. It is impossible to negotiate a contract for supply of material or construction if you can't follow through with the award. So, MATL is doing the right thing in waiting to contract after all considerations are completed.

Sorry to have babbled....... My question; I am wondering if anybody has any new information about any contracts flowing north to south or from Alberta to Montana if you prefer. If such contracts can be landed then the share price will obviously benefit. Kind of like a trucking company getting a back haul. I realize that the line will likely be available on the spot market for any utility wanting to send power south but that is intermittent and difficult to put a value on. I do not recall seeing any information about contracts that would flow south from Alberta. So, anybody?

Thanks!
