Pink Floyd long ago asked "Is there anybody out there?" Well, is there?

The recent financing news is GREAT for TBZ!

I, for one, feel really good these days about TBZ. But, I've been saying that for quite some time, LOL. Well, at least to buddies who are in at higher than todays value. Aces on another forum eluded to approval news by the end of this week and he is well connected. Then there is another 30 day waiting period after that which I hope is just a rubber stamp.

Somebody said on the other forum last week that we might be able to start construction in October, I think. Perhaps they said November. I hope so, but that is very optomistic and I started wondering about the construction contract. We know that SNC Lavalin is the general contractor. I have contacts at ABB Inc. who told me possibly a year ago or more that they have built the transformers and that they are in storage. I have contacts at Stella-Jones Inc. who were originally awarded the pole contract. I know that they have poles available but also know that the original agreement has long expired. There is nothing in place currently for them to supply these poles but they strongly suspect that this will happen when the approvals are complete. The contract that I hadn't considered was the pole line hardware. I was able to find out recently that HD Supply was awarded that work. However, that expired on Dec.31, 2007. I do have contacts there as well and they are still optomistic that this will happen.

With many years of experience in supply chain management within the electrical utility industry, and with the discussions that I have had with the above mentioned companies, I feel that the preferred strategy for SNC Lavalin is to negotiate with these vendors rather than going back to tender which is an expensive and time consuming process. I asked and I have been told that this is a strong consideration of SNC.

Another major part of this project is obviously the conductor. I deal with Nexans Inc. for wire and cable and they are very big in Canada. They submitted a tender way back when but were not successful. My contact would probably tell me who it was awarded to but I didn't want to ask at the time. So, does anyone know who SNC awarded the cable to? Any info on whether that has expired? Please report if you do. Any information now is very important to us retail investors. Something that someone might say might just twig someone else to a very good contact.

I personally think that this will all happen soon. The market is extremely crappy, but we are holding our own! Be Happy! Very happy! Good luck to all that have hung in sooooo long, we deserve it.
