Tonbridge Power Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TBZ), ("Tonbridge Power" or the "Company"), 100% controlling shareholder of the Montana Alberta Tie Ltd. ("MATL") transmission line project to interconnect the electricity markets of Alberta and the US through a 300 MW transmission announced today that Robert Fung has stepped down as chair and a director effective immediately, citing personal reasons unrelated to the Company. Mr. Fung advised the Company that he expects to be in a position to return once his circumstances resolve, which he expects might be soon. In the meantime, Mr. Johan van 't Hof, the current chief executive officer ("CEO"), has been appointed as interim Chair. Mr. van 't Hof will continue in his role as CEO during this period. The Company will carry on consulting with, and receiving advice from, Mr. Fung from time to time during his absence and looks forward to his possible return.
